CURRENT THREATS
Purity control of livestock vehicles returning from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine after transport of livestock.
In relation to appearing of the African swine fever on territory of the Russian Federation, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine, all vehicles for farm animals, running into the territory of the European Union from Russia, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine, they will be controlled by a Border veterinary officer to determine whether they have been satisfactorily cleaned and disinfected.
Moreover, the Commission’s Decision 2013/426/EC imposed on livestock carriers required to submit the border Veterinary Officer of evidence of a vehicle cleaned and disinfected after the last unloading animals.
The above-mentioned document shall be equivalent to the Annex II to Decision 2013/426/EC.
