- The person responsible for the consignment fills up part 1 of the CVED and forwards it Ti the veterinary Staff In the border checkpoint. However, before the physical arrival of the consignment at the border, to the border inspection post by fax or via e-mail is sent the notification as the CVED with filled up 1st part.
- According to Article 2 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 136/2004 of January 22nd 2004 establishing the procedure of veterinary check at community border inspection posts concerning products brought from third countries, the person responsible for the shipment should notify the veterinary staff about arriving in the border checkpoint.
